KUALA LUMPUR: Google said on Monday it is investing $160 million in shared water infrastructure in Negeri Sembilan to support local communities and its planned data center operations in Port Dickson, alongside new initiatives to develop local talent for the clean energy sector.

Upon completion, the facilities will be owned by Menteri Besar Negeri Sembilan (Incorporated), a state statutory body responsible for managing government assets.

The treatment plant will have the capacity to supply 65 million liters of potable water daily, serving Google's planned data center campus at Springhill Industrial Park while increasing water availability for public use.
